Real People! Real Results!

 

Have you ever heard of the "less is more" principle? Can someone work out less and get more results. I decided to put it to the test.

Mari  (pictured on left in November 2007 and on the right in February of 2008)is a very busy woman who works full time for a local law firm. From November 10, 2008 through January 2, 2009 she participated in a Joyful Heart Health & Fitness Challenge. One of my objectives was to try out this principle during the time of the year when most people pack on the pounds and inches. Mari did her best to attend classes, workout on her own and follow a simple plan I designed especially for her.

Does this give you some encouragement that you can get these kind of results without knocking yourself dead? I hope so.

 Mari has also had relief of chronic wrist, neck and back soreness. She has rehabilitated the arches of her feet and is back in heels again!

To be honest, I have known Mari for years and I did not notice that there were 70 plus inches extra on her body. She has a vibrant personality and is someone who dearly loves little children. She has been so kind to all of my kids. That is what I saw. She tells me that she started out in a size 18 and is now in 12's. She works hard at each class. Not only has she lost many inches, she has gained flexiblity, built strength and improved her balance and posture. Mari is an encouragement to all of us. It is a joy to work with her.
